Construction

• The modular patented ColdGuard Kit is an insulated and lined body that is comprised of several panels. Each panel consists of precisely formed and sturdy .090 gauge ABS skins fitted with custom shaped closed cell polystyrene foam insulation which, at 2 ½ inches thick, provides an R value of 12.5. The fine “haircell” textured finish makes a durable, easy to clean interior.
• All metal components used are made from stainless steel, aluminum or galvanized steel to prevent rusting.
• The kit meets the requirement of FMVSS 302 for flammability and the raw materials used in production are recyclable.

Thermal Efficiency

• The CG Kit has been tested by an independent facility and was found to have a UA (heat loss) Factor of 18.4 Btu / hr / ° F.
