Frequently Asked Questions

  • Q:  How long does it take to install a ColdGuard Kit?
A:  We recommend allowing 5 hours using 2 people for the install (10 man hours in total). The kit should be left to sit overnight for the sealant to cure properly.

  • Q:  Does the ColdGuard Kit fit any van?
    A:
The ColdGuard Kit can fit many of the most popular cargo vans.
    For example:
    • The VL-101 ColdGuard Kit will fit a Ford Econoline, GM Savana, and the Chev Express regular length cargo van.
    • The VL-102 ColdGuard Kit will fit a Ford Econoline, GM Savana, and the Chev Express extended length cargo van.

  • Knowing that the kit will fit a range of vans, dealers can avoid long lead times by keeping extra ColdGuard Kits in stock.
